Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
This policy explains what FastForge collects when you use fastforge.pionetix.com, why, and who else sees it. It applies to the website and purchase flow operated by Pionetix.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist: your email address, an optional name, and which part of the page you signed up from.
If you create an account: your email address and an account identifier. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google — never your Google password.
If you buy: the GitHub username you supply, and a record of your purchase (what was bought, when, and the payment reference).
Automatically: your IP address, used to apply anti-abuse rate limits and to determine your country so we can show the correct regional price. We store the resulting country, not a precise location.
What we never see
Your payment details.Card numbers, UPI IDs, and similar information go directly to Dodo Payments, our payment processor and merchant of record. They never reach our servers and we cannot store them. Dodo's handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
- To take payment and give you access to what you bought.
- To send the GitHub repository invitation to the account you named.
- To email you about your purchase, and — if you joined the waitlist — about launch.
- To keep the site working: rate limiting, correct regional pricing, fixing errors.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email to people who only bought without asking to hear from us.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of processors, each receiving only what it needs:
- Dodo Payments — processes payments as merchant of record; receives your payment and billing details directly.
- Google Firebase — provides authentication and the database where waitlist entries and purchase records are stored.
- GitHub — receives the username you provide, in order to grant repository access.
- Vercel — hosts the site and provides aggregate traffic analytics.
- PostHog — product analytics, where enabled, to understand how the site is used.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in — these are required for the site to function. Analytics are used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the product; we don't use advertising trackers or sell profiles to advertisers.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as your licence is active, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Account data is deleted when you ask us to close your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email brijesh.b@pionetix.comand we'll action it — normally within 30 days. Deleting your account doesn't claw back a licence you paid for, but we will remove personal data we're not legally required to keep.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small — which is the most effective protection available.
Children
FastForgeis a developer tool sold to adults. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above and, where the change affects you meaningfully, tell you by email.
